Popup messages do not display any text

Whenever any of these yellow popup messages appear (if you've missed a field out for example) they don't contain any text, as shown here:



I'm running the Domotiga LiveCD in VMWare, and everything else works fine. I've tried a clean reinstall, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else come across this? Thanks for any help!
