Thats right I have 2 of these KAKU doorbells in my home. When somebody rings my doorbell the traditional Bell is ringing as well a Kaku doorbell in my office an in the kitchen. It is triggered with the RFXcom transmitter. This transmitter can also open my Harrison electrical curtains.

I have my existing doorbell pusher, I find the KAKU very ugly. I have a X10 module for triggering, but can be done with Visonic and many other devices, depend on you HA system.

I just bought a KAKU CDB-6500BC wireless doorbel. I would like to use the doorbel transmitter to trigger events in homeseer2 but I don't know what (and) if an X10 code is transmitted. Besides that I also don't know how to have an event ring the doorbell. (again, what code)(I use the 87005 receiver/transmitter with LAN)
Who can help me out?

Kaku Doorbel has a fix device address 8..you can self select the Housecode.
First you have configure RFXcom that you can receive Kaku signals.
Making a event is so easy as all the other events in Homeseer.
I'm triggering 3 different things when the bell rings.
-IP video capture
-Send SMS
-Toggle some lights.
Dutch:
Gamma heeft wat Kaku aanbiedingen met 25% korting oa. extra unit voor de Kaku Bel.
Het gaat om dezelfde type...met een andere verpakking. Let op de nummers.

The easiest way to check is to use RFreceiver.
Stop homeseer and start http://www.rfxcom.com/documents/RFreceiver.zip
ARC receiving mode must be enabled in RFreceiver and also in the RFXCOM plug-in!

Thanks guys for the tip. It works. Now I have to see what events will take place when somebody rings the bell.
@Chak: I did buy the doorbell at Gamma but no discount there. I also cannot see it in the magazine or the internet. Could it be a local promotion? if yes, what Gamma has this promotion?
If it's at every Gamma I will buy the extra doorbell and the unit to control my sunscreen.
Jeroen
P.S. www.Klikaanklikuit.nl also has some products on sale.

Gamma Utrecht is giving some discounts on older Kaku hardware. most of the products are also in sale on kaku website.
The older Kaku hardware is not using the auto Channel.
Only interesting two products are the extra doorbell receiver and the trafo.
Both are are the same as the current one.

Sadly, I don't get it to work.
The doorswitch is adjusted to O (no number here available) and the door gong units are at O1. If i press the button the gongs ring so that's working. However i want to trigger an event to when the switch is pressed. RFXreciever.exe triggers and tells me to use 8 but that won't trigger a event for me. Any advise here please?

make an event with trigger: x10 command b8 on. You must make a device: chime module b8 at first

If you are using the unit with RFXCOM and Homeseer, then you need to enable the ARC protocol on your receiver from the RFXCOM config page and then make sure that in the X10 configuration you have house code "0" set to status only.
Add a new device with house code "0" and device code "8". You can then trigger an event based on activity of device O8.
One thing you need to be aware of (although I don't know if this is the same for the Dutch model) is that when the button is pressed, it sends a series of ON-OFF-ON-OFF signals. You will need to make sure that your event does not trigger multiple times from one press.
Paul..
