Team,
I'm looking for a temperature sensor with external sensor for my freezer.
Is there anything rfxcom compatible for sale right now? (In the Netherlands)
Cheers

Is this device not supported on the RFXLAN?

Re: Temperature sensor fridge
RFXLAN supports only Oregon sensors.
You can use the internal sensor of an Oregon sensor and extend the connection with a thin 2-pair cable. Isolate the sensor with a 2 cm heat-shrink tube.

I've an Oregon sensor just IN the fridge, after 1,5 years no issues so far.

The signal doesn't reach my rfxcom from within the fridgeRutger wrote:I've an Oregon sensor just IN the fridge, after 1,5 years no issues so far.

Will try Bert's suggestion to extend the sensor itself. I may have to calibrate it after taking it out of the original casing

I opened a typical (simple) Oregon temp sensor. WOW!b_weijenberg wrote:RFXLAN supports only Oregon sensors.

The wires going to the temperature sensor are as thick as a hair!
Not sure I can extend that with my soldering
