For some reason some of my Xanura modules are starting to "fail"
Sometimes I need to give the command on, off or dim several times (with the HomeSeer webinterface) to make some of the module do the requested action.
Only things that I have changed are (1) added more modules, and (2) added some new things (like TV, Radion, Senseo)
I've tested the setup with all the new things disconnected, and it's still the same problem.
All the modules (SAX12 / DAIX12 and some SAX1's) are on the same phase, and are programed like K1, K2, K3 ect ect.
(Could this be the problem? Do some modules need more "codes"?)
Or.. Do I need someking of signal amplifier? (if they exist at all)

Signal Amplifier, or bad setup?
There have been other topics on this subject. Most likely you have a noisy device plugged-in. (TV / Cheap power adapter). Try eliminating one by one and install filter(s). It did the trick for me.

Do you have the PMIX35, if so did you make a report on the levels

I'm using the CTX35. So no report option

Signal Amplifier, or bad setup?
Ok no report
Strange your situation, I have been using Xanura for a very long time now and my powerline is very stable. Of course I had some outlets which I could not use but once I can use them they keep on working. Since a year I have now the fasecoupler and use the 2x SVX10 for places I could not reach, now I can reach everything.

Thanks for the info.
I've no need for a fasecoupler as all the lights and sockets are on the same fase. (I've got 3 fases, but again. Only one is used for lights and sockets)
The CTX35 is next to the fusebox.
The PC is also next to the fusebox and directly connected to the CTX35.
When sending a command I can see the LED's on the CTX35 blinking, so the command is going out.
The units that I'm now having problems with are on the same floor as the fusebox.
I will "again" recode the problem units with an other house code. At the moment I'm using K1, K2... What I will do is give the "trouble" units something in the A range (just for testing)

Signal Amplifier, or bad setup?
Hi Pieter,
From the SVX10 manual: "Each letter code for a building
can only be amplified by one signal amplifier. The signal amplifier
must not be used in combination with an FKX phase connector".
As you just admitted to having committed this "crime", I wonder: why should it not be done if the result seems to work fine? (Or even better, at least in your case.)

Signal Amplifier, or bad setup?
If the amplifiers work as repeaters (not sure if that is the case), having two on the same house code could make an endless loop.
Why it doesn't occur in Pieter's house I don't know. Maybe his line is so bad that the endless loop does not occur?
