Working on it but need to compile the psplash voor toon1 and that is not as easy as with the toon2 (very old code).

For everyone with a rooted Toon2; you have maybe noticed some issue's connecting to the Toon2 from your computer/laptop/whatever. Initial connection takes a while.

I have found this to be related to wifi power management in the toon2. You can turn this off.

Create this file: "/etc/udhcpc.d/90tsc" and put this in it "/sbin/wl PM 0".
Then "chmod +x /etc/udhcpc.d/90tsc" and it will be fixed after a reboot.

To follow up on this: I just checked the ping times for Toon 2:

At first, the ping round trip times go up to 200+ ms, in a sawtooth pattern. Approximately every 120 s there's a short time of relief, in the sense that the ping times become a bit stable and low.
At approximately 460 seconds I switch off power management with

wl PM 0

The ping times then go to a steady low level, where they are supposed to be in normal operation.

So, what's the story? You tell me

I’m a guest on this forum for a while.
I’ve successfully rooted my toon 1 and now I bought a toon 2. Is there a (public) manual for rooting the toon 2?
