this is the most unstructured website I've seen from all the villages so far
Paper collection dates are not even mentioned.
You can't select the duobak dates by zipcode or so, just by generic 'wijk' names.
Will see if I can find an easy solution for this in the current app, paper collection dates have to be added via the custom date file and maintained by yourself .
First will rewrite the traffic info app before moving on to this one. Stay tuned.....

After upgrading to the latest firmware I don't see the drawables popping up..

Do I need to reinstall Afvalwijzer? to get the drawables back.

I see that afvalwijzer works correct, but only not the drawables.

Toon 1 or Toon 2? Which drawables don't show up? Thermostat panel? Those will only show up from the next day onwards typically, or 5 minutes after a gui restart when it is a collection day.
Reinstall of the app should not be needed.
I need to upgrade my Dev toon first to 5.13.2 to check (is still running 5.9.6 as there was absolutely no point in upgrading so far, zero new functionality).
Maybe I will upgrade tonight …...

Ok, I found the error.
The latest release of Afvalwijzer is storing the settings in /mnt/data/tsc/wastecollection.userSettings.json

The resourcefile with the thermostat app is still looking at /qmf/qml/apps/wastecollection/userSettings.json
So, if you manually copy the file from /mnt/data/tsc to /apps/wastecollection (and rename it to userSettings.json) it will work for now.

I will check with TheHogNL about an resourcefile update or a rollback of the wastecollection app to fix it permanently.

TheHogNL will build a new TSC menu with a fix for this issue, I will wait that he fix it otherwise I will do your fix.

Hi Y'all

Since yesterday we are using a Toon and I wanted to activate the Afval kalender.

I found out that I must provide postal code an house number and choose the right supplier of info in the list, which in my case should be Meppel.nl code 30.

When I set that up the app searches for info and then presents an empty list, what could be wrong?

Or did I make an error setting thins up ? if so please provide me with some simpel setup instructions (in dutch preferably but if thats impossible english would do)

Hi estate,

voor Meppel moet je handmatig eens per jaar de kalender downloaden en naar toon kopieren (of vaker als hij tussentijds wijzigt).
Het bestand bevat alle ophaaldagen voor het hele kalenderjaar, dus moet je de volgende stappen iedere keer rond de jaarwisseling herhalen:

1. ga naar www.meppel.nl op de PC
2. klik op 'afvalkalender'
3. login met je postcode / huisnummer
4. rechtsboven de maandkalender zie je een kleine link 'Download als iCal'
5. klik op deze link en download het bestand op je pc (Afvalkalender.ics is de standaard naam)

login op Toon met bijvoorbeeld WinSCP

6. maak een nieuwe folder 'waste' in de 'root' folder op Toon
7. kopieer 'Afvalkalender.ics' van de PC naar de Toon in de folder '/root/waste/'
8. hernoem 'Afvalkalender.ics' naar 'waste_calendar.ics' op Toon
9. In de afvalkalender app , selecteer afvalverwerker 30 nogmaals in het configuratiescherm zodat de nieuwe gegevens worden opgehaald.

1 moet ik de Toon aan de pc hangen met een usb kabel om dit bestand te kopieeren ?
2 waar vind ik dat wincp proggie ?
3 In Meppel wordt het afval opgehaald door Rova, als ik die instel blijft de lijst welliswaar ook leeg maar is dat een optie om het automatisch in beeld te krijgen ?

Dit is onze eerste Toon en het lijkt een verdomd leuk en handig kastje
