Re: Toon App: Water
Oepi-loepi, I am not sure if the new ESP firmware 1.1.10 is an improvement. My counter was off 2 digits this morning. I then entered the correct value and now it is again 1 digit off.
The old version which I ran Sunday to Tuesday was better in sync with the real value of the watermeter.

Ok, what is the lower value. The watermeter value or the toon value? And what is your damping value? The new software skips pulses if they have a shorter interval than the damping value. Interval is then also not reset. So if you select a lower damping value, less pulses will be skipped.Arnout2000 wrote:Oepi-loepi, I am not sure if the new ESP firmware 1.1.10 is an improvement. If toon is counting too much: increase the damping time
If toon is counting too little: decrease the damping time

Toon is counting too little. Used 250 liters and it is 1 digit off.
Damping is currently on the default 500.

Remove the flow tile and install the tile from the general tab.. not the original flow tile from the water tab.RoelToonz wrote:I finaly made it to make it work !! If it is not working open a water tap point and browse to http://esp-toonwater.local/water.html and check the output there.

Re: Toon App: Water
So the toon counted 249 liters instead of 250 ? If will make a test version for you in which you can go below 500.. just to try. I will send you the download url by private message.Arnout2000 wrote:Toon is counting too little. Used 250 liters and it is 1 digit off.

That’s great. Thx.
I corrected the value this morning and right now it is again 1 unit too low.

Re: Toon App: Water
I am still not able to see the water usage over multiple days.
The only water tiles I can choose are:
Nu
Text
Vandaag m3
Vandaag EUR
Despite Toon resetting after installation of the water App, the bar graphs only display Stroom and Gas.
What am I doing wrong?

Get the latest update of the resource file. Click ‘instellingen’ on the toon menu. Click tsc on the left. Click ‘check for updates’. After restart the original water tiles must be visible.Arnout2000 wrote:I am still not able to see the water usage over multiple days.

Re: Toon App: Water
Thanks. That did the trick.
I assumed that I would get a notification in case of new firmware just like with App updates, but I know now that I need to check for updates manually.

This update notification was pushed only once. It was an update only for this toonWater app.Arnout2000 wrote:Thanks. That did the trick.

Re: Toon App: Water
Installed my sensor today, anyone else having the same issue that even when not using water, and the sensor is not registering anything (no red led burning) sometimes it says 1 l/m or 2 l/m? Also looks like its counting the liters way to fast.
Lets say on 10 liters it counts 11-12 liters..
When not using water for like 15 minutes, it counts like 3-5 liters..

You are probably to far on the center and should put it more off center to try.
