And there is definitely a memory leak somewhere:
Mem: 123340K used, 2856K free, 256K shrd, 0K buff, 34752K cached
CPU: 4.3% usr 5.1% sys 0.0% nic 90.3% idle 0.0% io 0.0% irq 0.1% sirq
Load average: 0.43 0.25 0.17 1/99 29178
I've lost 9000K memory somewhere doing nothing.
Any idea how to find the cause?

Sorry for the late response, did not get a notification...
I just updated to 5.49.7 and will keep an eye on that one first, then I will post the results.

I've been having the same problem for a month now. Toon1 reboots several times a day.
I have uninstalled the unnecessary apps. The tone is practically bare. Only the agenda app and the buienradar app from the Toonstore. I also use the power meter module. That is it.
I just can't figure out what triggers the reboot.

I remove the libqt5websockets (all 3) with a -f . See opkg list-instlled it seems to help. Can you check if it helps for you also?

It's not clear or me which files you can remove when your Toon is reboting "several times" day.
What I understand is that ypu can remove files in the directory qmf/etx/start.d/ from that apps you dont use.
I do have the underneath files in that directory:
happ_eventmgr
happ_pwrusage
happ_scsync
happ_smartplug
happ_thermstat
happ_usermsg
hcb_bxtproxy
hcb_config
hcb_rrd
hcb_watchdog
hdrv_hue
hdrv_p1
hdrv_zwave
lighttpd
And which log files can be removed?
I removed them all but then at least the watermeter is not working:
01_GENERAL.log.json
04_DEVICE.log.json
06_ALARM.log.json
09_THERMO.log.json
10_CONNECTION.log.json
11_ASSET.log.json
90__UNKNOWN_.log.json
92__UNKNOWN_.log
93__UNKNOWN_.log
94__UNKNOWN_.log
96__UNKNOWN_.log
97__UNKNOWN_.log
98__UNKNOWN_.log
99_DEBUG.log
I'm working with the apps:
Buienradar
Watermeter
afvalkalender
Which files can be removed safely (I will save them also on my laptop)?

Well i mean remove some installed websockets packages. The packages are installed during updates and are needed for applications like the Onkyo controller app and the thermostat plus app. You do not have those apps installed and websockets are not needed. Just to try... could you try to remove the websockets and let us know if the toon gets better?
To remove with ssh (like putty):
If you enter the toon with ssh (putty). Please try the following commands:
opkg list-installed libqt5webs*
you will receive a list with the installed websockets packages:
libqt5websockets-plugins - 5.11.2+git0+e71467cb56-r0
libqt5websockets-qmlplugins - 5.11.2+git0+e71467cb56-r0
libqt5websockets5 - 5.11.2+git0+e71467cb56-r0
remove each of them:
opkg remove libqt5websockets-plugins --force-removal-of-dependent-packages
After that reboot the toon.
To reinstall the packages just update the toon or force an update:
sh update-rooted.sh -v with the current version of the toon (do not downgrade!)
so if your current version is 5.49.7 just execute sh update-rooted.sh -v 5.49.7

When I delete them the water usage chart isn't working. Is this related to that files?

No, not at all. Water is not using websockets. I checked and after removing i still have the charts.

Tank you @oepi-loepi for your help en detailed instructions!
I removed the packages mentioned by you and rebooted Toon. I'll check if this fixes the random reboots and report my findings later.

Unfortunately the suggested solution did not help me. I still experience multiple reboots per day.

Only the Toonstore with the Buienradar and calender app.
