On the PowerMax+ the OFF button is the 'disarm' button. The one with the open lock... It is probably the same on the PowerMax Pro

You are correct. The "open lock" is the OFF button.
Thank you :-)
The beeping is probably caused by tamper alarms on the connected (learned, 'ingeleerd') sensors. You either have removed their housing or their battery. If you remove the battery from the sensor the Visonic will 'miss' the sensor. Make sure to keep the battery in it and neatly close the housing so that the tamper alarm does not go off. That should get you through the night [;)]

Good luck

I'll give it an other go tomorrow.

Thats the right button :-)
On the powermax plus the button is the same with the additional text OFF.
BTW you can set the beep off and also the siren, thats easy while installing.
Problem messages also occur while the backup battery is loading, after a while this will be gone.
I have programmed my powermax plus within the hour including removing the old panel.
But I have done this before, and still several I had to think really hard, because the manual is not very clear!

The extra "Instalatie handleiding - programmeren" that came with this peace of crap is so fu**ing wrong (or is it really me?)
"Leer de zenders in en kies voor de optie 'inleren door sabotage'"
Pfff NO 'inleren door sabotage' option can be found at all. What it DOES show is:
2: Zender Inleren > Inleren type > sab. inleren (or) al/sab inleren.
When I select 'sab. inleren' it beeps, and returns to 'inleren type'
When I select 'al/sab inleren' it beeps, and keeps showing 'al/sab inleren'

Pieter,
Is it okay if I see you, and that you set this thing up for me?

[:D] [:D] [:D]
Yeb you're right the manual is not consisting at all.
The best thing to choose is "sab. inleren" this means that you have to open up the sensor and then it will register!
after you hear the friendly [:D] beeps you leave with OK and the sensor is set!

Chak has exactly the same powermax, perhaps he has some tricks on his sleeve?

It could take a while before your sensor is seeing me :-)
