Working like a charm, I now have 2 Chromoflex LED controllers on 1 RS232 connection. The are connected on the BUS (GND & RX)

Hello Pieter,
After seeing your nice LED lichting, I also ordered a few meter at mood-ledlight.nl to try.
Jou control everything from the fusebox with a chromoflex, do you use normal network kabel to the LED strips?
Can you put them in the same pipe as the 220V wires? or gives that interference.

Yes I use utp cable, you can even ty Some pairs together.
It can be combined within one pipe of the powerline but is not permitted to do....

We working on some other solutions right now.
Because we facing some problems with installations in some project because the building environment ( 60 cm thick walls )
Next week we have some wireless dmx encoders en decoders to test.
Proberly this would be a good solution ( with poe and dmx controller )

At the moment I use the Netcom (VScom) 813
NetCom 813 is an industrial-strength network-based serial device server for connecting eight RS232/422/485 device like CNC, PLC, weighting scale, scanner and other devices directly to the 10/100Mbps Ethernet network running TCP/IP.
