Error: Serial Port closed!... Error: End of file

Hi,

I've got Domoticz (V3.7376) running on a Synology DS916 using a RFXtrx433E, ZWave.me and a OTGW.
The RFXtrx433E was on firmware 1013, but I needed the latest firmware, so I upgraded the firmware to 1017.
The upgrade went OK (no error messages) as I did many times before, but .......
The RFXcom isn't working anymore, I see a lot of errors in the logfile:

2017-04-26 22:57:27.181 RFXCOM: Using serial port: /dev/ttyUSB0
2017-04-26 22:57:27.181 Error: Serial Port closed!... Error: End of file
2017-04-26 22:57:28.731 RFXCOM: retrying in 30 seconds...

I tried to 'downgrade' the firmware to the original (working) version, again no errors.
But the same issues.
Unfortunately I don't have a windows PC, so I can't try the RFXmngr

Anyone has experienced the same problem?
Or a solution?

It was a struggle, but its working

What I did:
1. find a windows pc
2. install RFXmngr
3. try to find FTD2xx.dll (here: http://ftdichip.com)
4. try to connect to the RFXCOM (in my case 9 reboots and 648 connect tries )
5. I got connected, my a bit happy.
6. upgrade firmware again (RFX was on 1017), I used RFXflash.

And domoticz (on a Synology) is working (after reboot of the NAS!!).
