Hi guys,
I have a Toon 2 rooted to the last firmware, 5.49.7.
The resolution (colors) of the screen are very strange. I think it has to do with the software because it was (and sometimes is) normal.
Example: the color of the basket is green in stead of red.
I want to try a fresh firmware installation.
The Toon 2 has the possibility to revert by pressing the reset button for 3 seconds and set the firmware to 4.9. After a 'restore' the TSC software updates the firmware to the latest version (nice feature btw).
It there a way to revert an older (fresh) firmware? With the Toon 1 I can do a complete fresh installation.
Thanks a lot!

The color green of the basket means that the schreen cable is not correct. It has not been installed correctly in the cable clip on the main board or the litle “variable resistor” in the cable is defective.
Re: Toon 2 screen resolution
A restore of a toon2 is always to 4.9. Before that version toon2 didn't exist yet

I have the same issue with my Toon2. Resolution is bad and also a green shopping basket. Some text is unreadable.
Is the a sollution? Or is a hardware (wire) issue?

It is a harware error. Not software related.

Is there a way to fix this ? Reset or something. The Toon first ran for half a day without any problems.

I fixed it by reconnect both display cables.
