Programming the DIX 1

hi, I have just bought the dix1 dimmer interface but do not have a PUX program unit or the software. I fiddled with it to program house codes but would like to know how to program other functions? using x10 can anyone tell me.

Solved the issue nothing special the same as other moduls I think got the dim command working with the correct button presses on my ir to x10 converter

Hi Phill

I use a old remote control from marmitek (HR10) in combination with my own Home automation software, homeseer will do to as long you send extended x10 commands.

For example the Xanura SAIX: adres + all units off + belasting + auto power:
Remote control: 2x adres, 2x all off
Software or other: 2x "hail ack", 2x "hail request"
You all have to do this within 60 seconds.

The second part can be done for example in homeseer with the following commands:
2x hs.execx10 "D2", "hail ack",0,0
2x hs.execx10 "D2", "hail request",0,0

Phillb, default the DIX1 cannot transmit dimming commands. To enable transmit dimming commands, in program mode first transmit the address twice and second transmit DIM command twice. The dimmer responds with 5 flashes of the program led. The same also for the DIX2 and the Marmitek TMD4.
