Hello,
All my radiators are equiped with hometronic HR50 valves. Works quite well. One has a bad receprion as it is next to the radiator on one side, and next to a steel doorpost on the other side. Is it possible to improve reception for those devices (mini satelite dish?)

Homtronic is not a open system.
works on 868 Mhz
Did you check Honeywell website for any repeater?

Yes, but I haven't found one. Don't think it is part of the system
Maybe I should try an other location for the main unit (not easy to do)

Thanks for the confirmation.
In CT magazine november there is an article on how to improve the reception for a wifi network (improving the antenna of the wifi sender). Maybe I can improve the receiving antenna

Bert and I are trying to get RFXCOM support for the HR80 (look for it on the forum). The HR50 probably isn't too different from the HR80.

Small update, I wanted to test it for a few days before posting.
I've connected a piece of wire (winded it round) the antenna in the HR50. The wire is about 15 cm long and sticks out of the HR50 module. Now it has a good reception (!). However, it is not able to send it's commands to the main unit, so the HR50 can not turn on my heating system when needed. I've tackled this by increasing temp in an other room on same time as in bathroom.
