As some sort of side-effect of other things i did, i noticed the following while watching the when and how a MS13 motion sensor sends information about the motion it detects: i see a periodic transmitting of ON-commands during the time a MS13 detects motion. Every 6-7 seconds an MS13 will send ON commands when it is detecting motion. If no motion, no transmission of ON anymore. So, don't wait for the OFF to arrive anymore [:)]

You are right about the first part!
But the MS13 does send an OFF command if it detects No Motion for X minutes. But the problem is that it's sending an OFF command only once (1 sequence)!
If you miss this command and with the MS13 that can easily happen (pour transmission) the status in your system is still set to ON and will keep that setting until there is motion again.
So what I do (and you) is set an extra idle time for the MS13 device. If I'm not receiving a Motion detection ON for X minutes I set the Status in my system to OFF.
If have some RFIX35 receivers in my home so I receive the OFF command almost always, but I have to be sure
So I handle it the way like you do I think!

Pieter, You're right, i should have mentioned the OFF is sent after x minutes, but it just didn't seem relevant assuming everybody already knows that.
Reason for this post was that when you know more about how the MS13 works, you can take advantage of it; especially when you're the one "behind the buttons", programming your own HA system.
