Visonic and remote panel

Post by Noel »

Okay. It looks like I've managed to setup the Visonic pro
I have set it up that when in "home" mode, the office (2nd floor) and living room (ground floor) are protected, and the bed room(s) on the 1st floor are not.

Now I would like to add an option to arm and disarm the Visonic Pro from the 1st floor.

Till now I've been using the "Sleutelhanger" to do this, but I would like to replace this with "fixed" unit.

What would be the best unit to do this?
Would it be the MCM-140 - Draadloos bedieningspaneel or the MKP-150 - Tweeweg draadloos bedieningspaneel

I love the "just push the button" on the "Sleutelhanger" to arm/disarm the alarm.

Do the two Bedieningspanelen also have this option, or do I need to enter the arm/disarm codes?

I have both panels
Arming can be done with just one push and disarming needs the code of course otherwise I can do it for you [:D]

Thanks for the info.
In that case I might stay with the "Sleutelhanger", and build something nice around it and fix it to the wall.
I really do not want to push codes at 06:00 in the morning to disarm the alarm.

The thing is that you can not get at it from any other floor wihtout triggering the alarm.

For the Pro version you can also use the new key with two way communication.
I have no extra interface only the keys.
They work fine for me.

Chak. A bit off topic, but does your Homeseer (and RFXcom) see the keys?

@Wifi: My RFXCOM receiver is in the garage which is behind te house. Signals from my Visonic sensors are received perfect but signals from my 2-way keyfob are once in a while lost.

Looks nice Chak.

What do you use as "Trigger" for the Visonic keyfob?
Device Status Change or Device Value Change?
In case of the "Status Change". What option are you using the the Status?
If you are using the "Value Change", what are your settings?

At the moment I'm using the Device Vaue Change, but this is I think not the way that the event should be triggered.

@Rene,
Till now I have no problems with the keyfob.
The main unit is located in the hallway. Not far away from using the keyfob.
