Rfxcom + Oregon temp/hygro, simple logg/charting?

Post by JanseDude »

Hi,
Just ordered Rfxcom receiver & Oregon sensors!

What would be the best software, that meets my requirements listed below , to do logging & charting?

Requirements:
- very easy to setup
- runs as Service on Windows Xp
- free (or low cost)

The MeteoHub (found on <s>Chaks'</s> AenGs' site http://www.hetweerinboskamp.nl/index.ph ... n/software) looks great but is not an option for me (doesn't run on Windows)

Thanks for the correction (changed it).

DomotiGa looks very nice but looks like it's Linux only.

You can use xPL which is free but you have to program your charts.

It is expected that HouseBot will support RFXCOM also very soon. But you have to program the charts also. For the cost of about $70 you get a nice product.

Or use Homeseer + RFXCOM plug-in and the charts written by Sooty (Paul) It is not free but this software has the most functions implemented and is almost ready to run and has a lot of extension possibilities.

If you really want to go in Domotica like us and you don't want to program yourself Homeseer and the RFXcom plugin is the best option!
