X10 address error

Post by drmacchi »

Hi all a new strange thing i need to solve!

A single address (A3) doesn't work anymore, the situation is:

CTX35 + Homeseer
-ctx35 can not control A3, not with HS neither using ctx35 terminal
- that x10 module setted on A3 works if setted something else (a4 , a5...)
-other x10 modules setted on A3 don't work
-if i change wall ploug nothing changes
- the same module setted on A3 WORKS if using x10-remote (3 different types remote!) or SC9000.
So it doesn't work when using pc and software.
Suggestions?
Cheers. lorenzo

I don't know the CTX35 but is there any intelligence (macros) in the CTX35 that blocks A3 or translates it to another address or action?

Perhaps another module is at fault and interfering with address A3. Try switching off cirquits (groups) to eliminate the problem. You could also try if it works if you use a module and the CTX35 on an isolated cirquit, behind a filter.
