LED ligths problem with AW10

Hi All

I have replaced tree 240V halogeen lights with tree 240V LED lights on one AW10 X10 module.
After this installation I have problems with my X10 modules.
When I switch “ON” the LED lights, I can’t switch them “OFF” remotely.
Also, some of the module nearby won’t work anymore.
When I switch OFF the module manually, the system works fine.
It looks like the LED lights are interfering with X10 modules.

I was wandering if anyone has the same problem and maybe a solution to this problem.

Thanks in advance.[:)]

Hi Hans,

Really late reply, but my guess would be that your transformer for the LED-lights emits some sort of interference on your powerline.
A filter should take care of that for you.

Hi Markus,

The LED's are the 240Volt type, so I don't use a transformer.
Thanks anyway.

You might not have an external transformer, but the Led lamp has an integrated electronic transformer and that may be causing the problem. Try placing a filter.

You got a webpage for the leds? I presume the leds also costs less when compared to halogeen right? (kwh wise)

Hi Erik,

I ordered the LED lights in the HMK-shop.
www.hmk.nl
The shop is not very professional and I waited a long time for my order.

Greetings Hans,
