Ok - this is worrying. My computer, sitting behind a Plugwise Circle just switched off without any reason. I heard the Circle go 'click' and no more power! About 30 seconds later, 'click' again and everything powered up.
Double checked my config, but the Circle is really set to 'do not switch off manually'.
This leads me to believe that the 'do not switch off' status is not stored in the Circle, but in the application. This is BAAAAD as it means I now have to plan for Circles switching off without any good reason, so UPS next to the computer after the switch etc.
Anyone have similar experiences? Would it make sense to ask Plugwise for a plug or firmware that doesn't allow it to switch off - ever?
In some parts of my network I need the switching capacity, but in certain parts not!

Did you perhaps experience an (automatic) firmware update?
Plugwise Circle just switched off by itself!
Strange, never had this!
As Pieter Paul is telling this should only happen if you perform a firmware update.
Only then the circle will reboot.

Also new for me...
I have 30 plugs and using them for long time.
only reboot is when new firmware is uploaded.

Or a short power dip.

Or if your neighbor is like me, and cloning mac addresses.

I think this is not possible.
Does this happened again?

Nope, never happened again. Must've been a fluke, or a minute power dip as someone suggested.
