Searching for mobile communication devices

Post by Alexander »

Irritates me that i can't find the product(s). It's not domotica related though.
My partner is a wedding planner and we need those communication systems like walkie-talkies/portofoons, but i'm not looking for those devices that are big or not discrete. (so not these kind of products http://www.portofoonwinkel.nl/klantense ... -kieshulp/)
We have seen (restaurants/praxis) systems that are small and are not fancy with buttons. It's like the size of a cigarette box (or x 1,5) with a button to talk which you clamb on your back with a ear-/talkwire.

Who can help me search or have already a website?

No did not before. Did check it after your post, but i can only see systems to communicatie with the co-rider, but those are connected devices or bluetooth connected but for two persons.

Most of the walkie talkies you show with your first weblink, comes with earbuds / push to talk button in the cable.. so you can still leave the rest..

just be carefull, i once bough a simple set for winter vacation.. and it was so bad.. that i have to scream so hard that the walkie talkie was not needed.. (so it pretty much sucked) you need quality like nokia on speakerphone (which usually does it jobs)

@alexandre,

Just don't buy the stuff by conrad or other particulier minded webshops.

My advise would be contact a security related company for the smallest "protofoons" , we also used this devices within large party's for security and communications with the organisation.

I have also buyed some proffesionel earplugs , those are driven to a air earplug.

For the most systems you are free to use some freqency , but near airports etc you must have a licence for using the devices.

I while ago , I bought then by VISM ( verbeek international security management ) located in Breda.

@drmacchi: that are headsets which must be used for the devices like in my first url. These headset like do we need, but the devices in the first url (from me) isn't what we are looking for. Don't forget: It must be discrete and because its a woman thing, they don't have any belt to click on (and it will be to obvious (cant hide it)).

@snelvuur: same thing: i don't want to tell the woman to click the big (its just to big!) portofoon in their pants). The example for your winter vacation is just an example for a device we don't want to use.

@mversluis: i will contact vism monday. thanks for the hint.

Any webshop available for others?
