How do you mean? Like building a VPN with the fritz to a company-network or something?
Or getting VPN working for when you're on the road?

You'll need the first download (bottom right) to confgure the VPN and the second download is the VPN Client software.

Idea is to use the fritz as dial in vpn server.
Connection will be build up from my Iphone and other PC's with standard PPTP protocol.

At the moment this function is running on one of my machines at home.
Fritz is forwarding port 1723 to the local machine.

BTW, i don't like using VPN client software from company X, Y, Z etc., so instead i use Adito VPN.
Works great, just login with a browser and you can connect to whatever you like in your home network. Below example shows an icon that opens a RDP connection to my PC through VPN tunnel. No additional software needed (only JRE on client PC), additional software needed (like in this example the RDP client) will be downloaded from your own site to the client by the Adito agent.

Looks great Robert I'm going to test that
We use the web based TS for VPN connection at work.
For authentication we use the domain logon + RSA tokens.
There is no need for any software only the active-x plugin at the client side.
other option is to use the Cisco client.

my connection is to Homeseer from my Iphone with the HSTouch client.
at the moment VPN dial in is running on the Homeseer machine...this works beter place will be the Fritz for handling the VPN

Adito can be used for remote access with SSH, RDP, Telnet, VNC but also for SSL tunneling POP, SMTP etc. and secure access to Samba/CIFS/Local and FTP file systems:

@Robert,
Thanks for the great tip
Adito is a great tool for secure access to a network.
There is also a new Windows installation tool what will make installation easy.

All the functions did work fine.
RDP
VNC
HTTP

On my router there are only two ports open
1723 (VPN)
443 SSL (also for adito)

Update:
Adito runs also fine on the OSX.
Adito will give the OSX Java RDP client what is fast in local network.
no need for the RDC client

Next step is go for a box where Adito can run on.

The former version of Adito (3SP SSL-Explorer) was also available as a VMware appliance.

If you still want to go for the FritzVPN, there is a small software package to generate a vpn-configuration file. I prefer this method because IPSEC VPNs are now widely supported on Windows, Mac and Linux. It keeps me from manually login through http, clicking and installing java stuff to get connected on a network level. I use IPsecuritas on OSX, when I'm connected to the internet, I need 2 or less clicks to connect to my home network. It works transparently without any trouble, and without the usage of a browser. Another extra is no extra power usage because you need an extra machine of extra VM. And you will always be connected to your network, even if your VM host is down. So I can still reach my Synology, my alarm or IP camera's if my HS machine is down.
