How to include a ACT ZRP200 plug with AEON stick to HS

Post by Geert »

Hi,

Does anybody knows how to include a ACT ZRP200 plug with a AEON stick for using it in HS?

I have no problem with including POPP devices on the Aeon stick (unplug stick from PC, press one time button on stick and 3 times on POPP device) and also a in wall ACT ZDM230 is going well (unplug stick from PC, press one time button on stick and 1 time on left switch on ZDM230 device) but the ACT plug only switches on/off when pressing the button.
Maybe plug is already included into "other" network (factory test?) and needs a complete reset but I can't find how to do that, anybody knows that? Or do I for this plug realy need a ZTH200 controller?

Hi.

I have no problem including ZDP200 on aeon stick with 1 push.

If you want to make sure, it is not included in another network, you can just exclude it with your Z-stick first. That will reset it, even if it belongs to another network. You can then include it.

Reset procedure:

Push the button on your Aeon-Labs z-stick about 5 seconds, push the on/off button on your ZRP200.

Include procedure:

Push the button on your Aeon-Labs z-stick about 1 second, push the on/off button on your ZRP200.

Now you are able to read the device in Homeseer after putting your stick back into your pc and restarting Homeseer.

It works! I indeed needed to reset/exclude the plug before I could add it to my own network.

Thanks for your tips!
