Empty page on Imac

On my new Imac I have some problems..
When I open a local page sometimes the page will not show up.
After a refresh it will show the page again. When the page is complex like the HS Satup page it will never show up.

In the past I had also this problem on one of my Windows machines..

Don't remember what the solution was.

Vm's running on the Imac will show up correct.

I guess it is browser related ... have seen it on websites as well.
