I'm new in the world of domotica, and I'm in terrible need of some guidance
My current situation:
I have bought several z-wave receivers (3 shutters, and some light switches) of Merten (RF Connect). Now I'm looking for a tool to create scenes, and schedule my shutters and so on.
Merten has a unit with wich you can control all Merten Z-wave devices, but this device is out of my budget (approx 800 EUR), therefore I'm looking for a solution (usb controler in combination with my home-server) to control my lights and shutters.
I found that a lot of you use homeseer, but can I use this software to configure my Merten RF receivers and switches, or do I always need the Merten software next to homeseer?
I also found software called thinkessentials which is quite cheap, but again, I'm not sure if I can use this without buying the Merten controling hardware/software?
