Rovio Robot Webcam
Er gaan waarschijnlijk dagen voorbij dat u de Rovio Robot Webcam niet nodig heeft. Misschien heeft u zelfs nog nooit gedacht: " Ik heb een Robot webcam nodig". Dat geeft helemaal niets, want dingen hoeven niet louter nuttig te zijn om leuk te zijn. Met de Rovio Robot Webcam kunt u, min- of meer, op 2 plaatsen tegelijk zijn. U kunt altijd thuis of op kantoor zijn vanaf uw PC of Mac, mobiele telefoon, smartphone, PDA of zelfs videogameconsole. natuurlijk allemaal op afstand 24 uur per dag, 7 dagen per week waar u zich ook maar bevind in de wereld!

U kunt de Rovio Robot Webcam op afstand bedienen en dus rondkijken in uw huis of uw kantoor. leuker nog, door de ingebouwde microfoon en speaker kunt u ook met de aanwezigen praten. U heeft dus de beschikking over streaming video en audio van zijn ingebouwde camera.

De TrueTrack™ Navigatie Systeem maakt het voor u mogelijk om de Rovio interface te gebruiken om waypoints op te slaan — met een klik zal Rovio zichzelf automatisch navigeren naar de gekozen bestemming. Rovio’s LED hoofdlampje maakt het mogelijk in het donker te navigeren, op deze manier weet u altijd wat er aan de hand is thuis of op kantoor. U hoeft zich geen zorgen te maken over Rovio's batterij als u weg bent — de zelf-docking functie maakt het voor u mogelijk om de Rovio naar de laad dockstation te sturen om op te laden, met 1 klik op een knop .

Looking for reviews if found the following:

If you want the Rovio to move through more than one room (or beyond about 25 feet from the dock), you’ll need extra infrared Room Beacons, costing about £25 each.

Some other points I found last time I looked in to this one:
- it only allows WEP for wireless encryption.
- bright LEDs on top do not switch off
- some people had trouble with the tracking system when having a lot of IR in the room (in our cases we should look out for IRtrans and Roombas)
- works best with flat ceilings (3mtr high), so cathedral like or split level are troublesome environments
- won't auto dock if the beacon is not in sight (about 7/8 mtr)
- bad image quality in the dark have been addressed by a new "headlight" module which should be available
