Qees Wall

Post by PepeBel4 »

Hello,
I am completely new to domotica | z-wave | Qees.
We just built a new home; with plain electricity cabling and switches.
Now, I am planning to Buy Mios Home Controller in combination with the Qees products.
But off course, many, many questions. In particular. Is it possible to use the Qees Wall/Dimmer to replace the switches we currently have (i.e. 230V cabling) ?
Why is there a difference in products, design between what I can find on qees.eu and for example on a webshop such as ezhome.nl ?
My idea would be to replace all our normal switches with qees switches and also to use qees power.

Thanks in advance for any feedback, help anyone could give.

Hi Pascal.

The QEES Wall is a battery remote for mounting in the a Danish FUGA mount. So the dimensions are smaller than most of Europe.

It can not be powered by 230V. It can be powered by battery or low voltage ( 5 - 13v) There are versions planed, that have a relay and is powered by 230v. I have no idea, when they will be on the market.

The design difference is because, there is a new front available. The print is the same in both versions, look is the only difference.

Regards
Morten

Hello Morten,
Thanks for your feedback!
I just saw on their website the following 'wall' : http://www.qees.eu/userfiles/file/13_QE ... 20page.pdf
It seems to be a version that supports 230V or am I completely wrong?

I have few qees products in use.
The qees power is a nice product..see my review on this board.
The current qees wall is indeed very small

Hi Pascal.

The link is to the planed new version. It should come in a EU format to.

I was told about the plans in Marts. But I don't know when plans become product.

If you want to fight the Danish (Google translate), this is what the new CEO of QEES told me http://zwaves.dk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=646
