Hi,
Is there any plan to add/extend the generic webcam device in domotiga?
By webcam device i mean that you can do actions on them (grab an image) and that they appear on the floorplan with a snapshot when you hover it with the mouse...
Is it possible to have multiple windows inside the main frame on order to display several views instead of having tabs?
What do you think about having an xpl gateway?
These are just ideas of "nice to have" features
Anyway continue the great job, i am switching back to domotiga as my HA software (i have tried xplmyhouse during several months)
New Domotiga features...

Re: New Domotiga features...
Hi again,
How about having a the possibility to create condition based on "the last seen" information? now there is only "the last changed"
This could be nice to stop some devices if for any reason the sensor is broken/out of battery or what ever.
It could also be nice if one could add some custom global variable to hold some user specific information add share it between events...
I known i am asking too much things, but this is because i really like this software !

Re: New Domotiga features...
Hi Hplus,
Will add last seen field to device conditions.
Setting custom global vars... thought that was possible already by typing your own globalvar name in action field, but have to check, can't see it working now...

Re: New Domotiga features...
Thanks,
How about the multiple windows?
A nice feature would be to be able to change the value of some global var from one of the panels. (same as the house mode but user editable)
One could define a global var with a type (integer, float, enum) a style of widget to edit them and a tab in which this widget would appear.
A use case: An ediatble room temperature.
Maybe this feature could be more generic and replace the "control tab" content
A generic layout editor would be also nice in order to configure the position of all the widgets instead of a fixed set of tab with a "Group" based content creation. I think this is the direction the software is taking by creating the location button. But this is all hardcoded one could want to mix some temperature graphics with control buttons and whatever.
I could contribute if i knew how to code in gambas, but unfortunatly my contribution can only be to test and give ideas...
Thanks again
