best software to use with Rfxcom

Hello,

Several years ago i bought a reciever and some sensors for energy and gas registration. It is all setup and running for a couple of years now, but i never found the time to write or buy some software to use with the hardware.

Now i have some little time and i was wondering what the best choise of software is for the use of the rfxcom hardware.

Most of you readers and writers have the best experience with all of the domotica stuff, what do you people recommend?

I'm using homeseer with the rfxplugin and rfxcharts.
Just to get a system up and running very quickly.

Ok, but is there not a program that at least puts the data from rfxcom in a (preferable) Microsoft sql database. From there i can present the data into graphics.

I am looking for something like that too.
I don't have time at this point to build something myself.
That's why i got homeseer to get my domoticasystem going.

Make a script or something that puts the data also in every database you want. You can trigger that if the device changes. I think there are enough samples on the Internet available.

If you want a ready made system select Homeseer with RFXCharts. This solution is using a MS-Access database and creates selectable charts.

Or use xPLRFX or DomotiGa for logging of the decoded received data, create a script to store this data in a database and write charting software

i have never used a rfxchart yet in homeseer, is the userguide of rfxcom in homeseer the right source for how to ?
