This is definitely a solution I'll keep my eye on in the future.
Has anybody seen a solution like this on our dutch wallsockets? This has "awesome sauce" all over it.
Things I do wonder BTW:
- it has to be an adapter/converter inside the socket. What will the idle powerconsumption be if no usb device is connected..
- How will it work with the readings when connecting a plugwise or other power meter to it as well.
- I wonder about the Interference from these devices into the wallsocket area when also connecting it to a power meter like plugwise or similar device.
*updated title to be more clear about the topic (Thanks Alexander)*

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!
