RFXtrx433 and Sartano

Post by knasen17 »

Hi,

I have just got my RFXtrx433 delivered and I am trying to use it. I have a remote controller named Sartano 2606 a.k.a. HN56002.
The only button that the RFX understands is the “D – OFF”. All the other buttons are ignored and thus no blinking yellow LED.

According to RFXtrx User Guide (http://www.rfxcom.com/documents/RFXtrx% ... 0Guide.pdf), Sartano is supported.

Using the RFXmngr tool, I get the following when pressing “D – OFF”
------------------------------------------------
071001E74F100070
Packettype = Lighting1
subtype = ARC
housecode = O
Sequence nbr = 2
unitcode = 16
Command = Off
Signal level = 7

Firmware version = 40
Hardware version = 1.0

The DIP switch 1 is set to “on” in both receiver and transmitter and as stated above the DIP switch D is set to “on” in the receiver
Sending command=on with house code O and unit code 16 switches the receiver off though

All my Oregon sensors are recognized!

What can be the problem?

In that user guide you will find Sartano as only supported by the transmitter.
It is normal that Sartano is not received. The reason is that is does not comply with the ARC standard and overlaps partly with a wrong status.

Thanks for fast answer! I was a bit confused, since Sartano is listed as being of type ELRO AB400D and not as ARC, so that is why I bought them.
Obviously Setting the numeric DIP switch 1 to "on" and the rest to "off" results in Houscode O and setting the alphanumeric DIP switch D to "on" and the rest to "off" results in unit code 16.
Any ideas what A,B,C, and E will result uin what unit codes?

I suppose you can use the switch settings as given in chapter 7.3 or 7.4 in the RFXtrx user guide.

Seems to be §7.4 "sort of". In the table, the "0" shall be "1" and vice versa to comply with Sartano. There is also an "E" switch which seems must be off, not sure of its use. Anyone?
