Oregon-THGR122NX

Post by soitjes »

Hi,

I bought an Oregon Scientific THGR122NX sensor, and when logging the xPL messages I see that it alternates between one message with the real temperature as displayed on the device, and the next minute I receive a value of -50 (and the display shows LL.L), and so on... For the humidity all xPL message give a fixed value of 50, as on the display. That does not look very normal either.

I did only buy the sensor, not the base station. Could that be the problem, or is the sensor broken ?

Thanks,

Walter.

It came with new batteries, which I just tested with a tester, and they are ok. The device is brand new, received it the day before yesterday.

With LL.L in the display it normally indicates out of limits. I suppose the sensor is defect.
