RFXMEter - puls sensor question

Post by AshaiRey »

I have a pulse sensor in use for RFXMeter to measure water usage. I have attached this sensor to my water meter but i have the following problem. It just work for a day or 2 and then it stops. THe watermeter is in a damp pit and when i remove the sensor from the glass of the meter i notice that damp is cloghing the view of the sensor. I tried the attach the sensor with double sided foam tape, with rubber in between silicon kit but i didn't have success this far.
An suggestions for attaching a sensor in such conditions?

Condense occurs when you have a temperature difference. Maybe you can solve it by boxing in the complete unit in with tempex. Or you should add another water meter with pulse counter
