Hi , it's like the italian device. i think that you should find a new (digital flow meter) AFTER the official one . Lorenzo

@ Janseb,

I have the same meter as you have and you can measure the water usage.
There is a small black cover (not the one covering the numbers). Take it out and you have 2 holes. (I think I see it 1 cm to south west of the orange mark.)
Put a reed contact into one of the holes and you get a pulse every 0,5 liter.

I tried to find the original reed contact but it's hard to get. You might as well buy a really small reed contact from Conrad.

It's not cheap but it's better than replacing the water meter. :D

good luck.

Hello,

The meters give a pulse for 1puls/liter
The have also a version for 0,5L/puls
In the RFXmeter you make a device RFXwater and voila its works

No picture available as I have some ducktape keeping the reed contact in place.
Just take the black cap off and you will see 2 holes. The rest was explained.

Drop me a PM if you want me to explain it to you by phone.

In my meter the 2 holes are right next to each other. One hole is for the reed contact and the other hole is used to fix the housing of the original reed contact.
However if you buy a normal reed contact (eg. from Conrad) you don't need the second hole.
You might have to test how deep to insert the reed contact by opening the watertap and measure if the contact opens and closes while water is running.
