just deleting the folders is not enough. Toon still thinks buienradar is installed and therefor skips the installation of the ipk via ToonStore.

Remove buienradar with:
opkg remove buienradar

After that you can install again via ToonStore as usual.
Same for all other apps you had installed.

I have a freshly rooted Toon with latest firmware, installed Toonstore but when I select an app and press "Toon bijwerken" nothing happens...
Also I can find a logfile to check for errors...

My second Toon also has the latest firmware and here it works fine.... Only difference between the Toons is the u-boot but this shouldn't matter I guess?

EDIT: Just saw my own Toon (one with trouble) had the time/date completely wrong (1st Jan 2011)... Apperently Chrony isn't really working.
Manuall set date and time and now it's working

Hi, I bought a freshly rooted Toon, everything seems to be working fine, except for the Toonstore.
I have the same problem as Fietspomp, when I select an app to be installed and press "Toon bijwerken" nothing happens...

I checked the time/date on the Toon and this is correct. So, it seems to be a different root cause...
Any ideas? Should I check/replace this Chrony script on the Toon?

Folder has 1 file only: _opkg.qb2-uni-9.9.99.script.sh
So no log file...

1. Is your hosts file correct ? (viewtopic.php?f=87&t=11756&p=83698&hilit=hosts#p83698)

i added to /ETC/host (so was missing)
172.20.48.1 feed.hae.int feed

After Toonstore was working properly
btw a # was added in front my line and the same line was added again the bottom of /ETC/host

Correct it has the same URL reference?
I went through the posts, but i do not have the file /qmf/etc/qmf_project.xml

Installed version 4.15.6

Globals.qml was overwrite by the install so toonestore was gone.
Add toonstore in Globals again and it look like its working again, only traffic app was not working anymore "traffic app is not working with the new firmware 4.15.6"
Also in toonstore the icons (+) and the refress ico was changed.

Is it possible to remove and install toonstore ? and will this help ?

Hi reinstalling will not help. Both ToonStore and the traffic app will need an update to fix this.
Will do so but will go on holiday first.

How did you upgrade? The update-script I have written will fix the Globals.qml right after the upgrade.

I upgraded to 4.15.6 myself via de upgrade script from TheHogNl. Both ToonStore and traffic app are working fine here.
Just the 'refresh' picture is not shown on the ToonStore refresh button, but the refresh functionality works ok.
EDIT: For a day ToonStore blocked installation of apps because I hadn't updated the repo with the new available firmware version, probably that's why you have seen that icon (exclamation mark instead of a '+' sign).
