Someone has the new PMIX35 1.1.6 software?
Xanura said there is a new software version of the PMIX35 application. It is a new analysing tab. The software is not yet released on the Xanura website (www.xanurahome.nl) I don't know the reason why? Does someone know it and does someone have this version?

Hi all,
I just downloaded and tried the new PMIX35 software.
It installed without any problems on top of an existing installation of the previous version.
But beware: if you run it for the first time, it will immediately proceed to update the firmware of your PMIX35, without warning (nothing dramatic, but something you should know).
The new validation functionality (see screenshot) seems to be working well, but it does take some time and it will switch all of your devices on the selected house codes on and off - so please be careful with the electric chain saw behind the SAIX12
.
I still have to find out what exaxtly is happening during the validation test (it seems to be the A10 version of a ping), but for this house code everything is in the green, so I guess I did something right
.

I only have a few modules in the house (mostly to test/experiment so 2 modules are still connected with a power cord to a wall outlet).
With some experimenting I found a few appliances which were disturbing the communications so those appliances have been moved to another "group" or put behind a wall-outlet filter.
So now I have 5 groups behind a powerline filter (SFX40) of which 3 groups are used the most (eg almost all lights, wall outlets etc are connected on those 3 groups), 1 group is not used at all and the last one only has the bell-transformer on it.
I have three modules connected, each on one of the 3 groups. With the PMIX35 software I can see the modules and connect them from (almost) every wall outlet. There are a few which are a bit wonky. The PMIX won't see all the modules if I use that wall outlet (eg only 2 from the 3 sometimes not even the module on the same group). Mostly it works when I put the PMIX on a long power extension cable.
So if I manually send commands ore request the status the modules will respond every time.
With the latest software I tried to "validate" the setup. What I found disturbing is that the software will first say "gevonden" than "mislukt" and then "controleer". If I look at the commands in the "analyzer" tab I can see the PMIX sends a few status requests when it first starts to "validate". Even though the module responds it will still say "mislukt" and later on "controleer" when it has finished with the module. For example this is the output of a module (a SAIX12):
Is this a problem in the software (and the reason it's not found on the site anymore) or is there something still disturbing the signals in our house? I hoped I'd found them all...

Someone has the new PMIX35 1.1.6 software?
Hi Pieter,
(Sorry for the late reply; I was out of network reach for a few days.)
The version I installed is 1.1.6. I haven't used the PMIX35 intensively since installing the new software, as I'm back to my CTX35 via a LAN interface for primary control.
I'm curious to know what the reason is for retracting this version...

Someone has the new PMIX35 1.1.6 software?
Hi all
Version 1.1.6 is the latest PMX35 software
and here I have the manual for it http://www.bwired.nl/images/how/PMIX35116.pdf
In dutch a part of how the validate is working (sorry)
Validatie:
- <100mV: Mislukt
- >100mV en <200mV: Controleer
- >200mV: Geslaagd

Thanks for the info. The software does not behave as it states in the manual. At least it dowsn't show that way in the "Analyze" tab. Attached I've sent a "validate" log from the B01 module. The first few status requests are made by me. The first on (on full power) works OK; the second one (at 0,8V) does not work. I then try a few times and the tipping point is around 1V. Below the module does not respond, above it will send the status as requested.
Then at 18:54 I started the validate. According to the log they try with 4,5V, 5V, 6,2V, 5,2V, 4,3V, and 3,7V signal. All requests are answered by the module. So that is why I don't understand the software says it's "mislukt". It didn't even try lower than 2,7V....
